Rent a Rib boat in Alonissos
Alonissos, or commonly known as Liadromia, is a Greek island in the Aegean Sea and particularly in the island group of Sporades. Wonderful beaches, an atmospheric place with a cosmopolitan atmosphere thanks to the many foreign residents, a major water park and many paths for walkers make Alonissos a destination for a quiet holiday, with sophisticated colors and ecological interest. Patitiri, the port, is busy and colorful, but with unregulated architecture.
The beaches, particularly those found in the wild northern and western part of the island, are not easily approached. Great Mourtias, Votsi, Rousoum Gialos, Leftos Gialos, Steni Vala, Kalamakia and Ai-Dimitris are small fishing villages with beautiful beaches and nice tavernas.
Chora, the old village of Alonissos, strategically located with excellent view, retains the traditional character of the houses and of the narrow cobbled streets. The island is ideal for walks, and has marked trails that serve this purpose. Do not forget to take the daily trip-tour to the deserted islands of the Marine Park.
